	**Mike Newton was born in 1949. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School and gained an electrical engineering degree followed by a Ph.D at Liverpool University. He worked at ICI for many years in the IT discipline before being transferred to IBM then taking his terms at age 50. He continued as an IT consultant but turned to writing after touring through France on his bike, producing his first book ‘Four Fifty-Plus Fools Flit Fru France’. **
	Naoko Motohiro was born in 1952. She was educated at Kaho high-school and gained an English literature degree at Kitakyusyu University. She has taught English at a variety of schools for the past twenty years
